WATCH: Klept is Back With "Jewish Beyoncé And Jay-Z"

Mad Props To The "Jewish" Beyoncé And Jay-Z

Brianne Berkson and Miguel Gluckstern, the self-proclaimed "Jewish Beyonce and Jay-Z," are literally killing the Internet right now with their feel-good song and video, “LOVE.” The video is upbeat and the song "celebrates love, lovers, and acceptance", says Berkson.

Known as BriGuel, the couple is also behind the self-titled comedy series BriGuel, about New York City artists life. A new song is introduced in every episode.

In “LOVE,” the couple reintroduce Terrence Harding, i.e. Klept from Notorious B.I.G.’s group Junior M.A.F.I.A. In the video, they rap and ask, “What happened to love?”

“Our goal is to spread a positive message, despite this era of hate and fear, inspiring ‘LOVE,’” Berkson says. “As an artist-couple, we play, laugh, have fun and want to make the world happier through our comedy and music. We make fun of ourselves, share our truth, and create work that puts more light in the world.”

The couple says being descendants of Holocaust survivors impacts their work, too.

“It’s our purpose to do this work because of our history and the pain our family, and humanity at large, experienced,” says Gluckstern. “In Spain, we say ‘pon tu granito de arena,’ which means ‘make your contribution,’ so that’s what we do.”

Berkson has been acting, dancing, and singing all her life. She starred in Dare alongside Rooney Mara, Emmy Rossum, and Alan Cumming, and in Bad Vegan and the Teleportation Machine, a film she also produced and co-wrote.

Gluckstern has been rapping since he was 10, performing music globally. As a filmmaker, Gluckstern debuted directorially with Tom’s Dilemma and directed music video "YEMEN" for Spanish rapper KASE.O.

As for this new video: “Let’s laugh, sing and dance to ‘LOVE’ together as we enter Autumn, the season to fall in love,” Gluckstern says. “When we open our minds and hearts, we can live and love forever.”
