Director Spike Lee revealed that legendary Nike designer Tinker Hatfield made him a pair of custom BlacKkKlansmanAir Jordans for the 2019 Golden Globe Awards.
The gold sneakers feature red insoles to match the red carpet with outsoles featuring slogans “TRUTH TO POWER,” “SPEAK ON IT,” and “RESIST.”
Lee showcased the sneakers on Instagram before the ceremony with post, “Shout Out To Da GOAT and Tinker Hatfield For My Golden Globe JORDAN’S For Da Red Carpet Tonight.”
