Cast Of 'Pose' And GLSEN Team Up In Benefit Concert

FX's Pose has been renewed for a second season, and all’s well in the world. The groundbreaking series has given voices to a community that's been silenced and kept out of the room for far too long.

The cast will be celebrating their first season with a benefit concert hosted by star Dyllon Burnside: “Up Close & Personal” at The Cutting Room in NYC on Monday, July 23rd at 7:30PM.

The evening will feature performances from Burnside and cast members from Pose including Mj Rodriguez (Blanca) and Ryan Jamaal Swain (Damon). It will also feature appearances from Emil Wilbekin (president and founder of Native Son, a media that empowers Black gay men) and surprise performances by friends of the show.

Media coverage for the evening will be provided by SLAYTV.

All proceeds from the concert will go to the Gay, Lesbian, and Straight Education Network (GLSEN), the leading national education organization focused on ensuring safe and affirming schools for LGBTQ students.

If you’re in New York City on July 23rd, make sure to show your support by showing out! Congrats to your renewed season, our dear POSE family. Here’s to more and more and more.
